About Secondhand London

Secondhand London lists the places in London where you can buy, mend and sell second-hand things in person. Each guide gives the address, the nearest station, the opening hours and the price or fee, then a short verdict.

The guides cover shops, markets and car boots, repairs, and places where you can sell locally without listing anything online.

How listings are checked

Every address, opening time and fee comes from the place's own website or, failing that, from the charity, council or organiser that runs it. Each guide says when it was checked. Places that we can't confirm are still open are left out.

Hours change, especially around bank holidays, so follow the link to the place's own page before a long trip.

Money

Nobody pays to be listed, and there are no affiliate links. Some outbound links are counted so we can see which places people look up. That's all they're used for.
